My Yester Day (yes two words, pass it on)
Yesterday was eventful...to say the least! I got a dress for Amber's wedding with Kevin, and even though its a little itchy on the outside it's really cute and fun and I'm excited! Usually I hate shopping for clothes because it stresses me out, but lately it's been better.
Then I had my very first day of training for Nordstrom! Yayyyy. It was from 3 til 9 and we were standing pretty much the whole entire time so that really gave me an idea of how it will be when I work, standing up the whole time. Except we were just standing in one place listening to a woman talk a majority of the time so probably not the same thing...at least for me since I'm a sales person. But it was so fun because we learned how to use their spiffy CASH REGISTERS!! Adam, it's our dream! Playing with cash registers for 6 hours! Haha, ok well maybe not that long though. But it was all fun and stuff and then I got to be a bad person and eat disgusting Panda Express that I love with my new Norstrom employee friends. All girls. Go figure!
Then I went with Matt to see War of the Worlds and it was soooo GOOD! I thought I would hate it and be bored, but it was so well done. I'm not a graphics person, I'm usually not impressed by those things but I was this time! And Tom Cruise didn't annoy me at all like I thought he would, and Dakota Fanning was so good! She's cute and all, but in this movie she was actually really really good. But it was so scary, it really freaked me out. Minus actually seeing the alien and what it really looked like...again disappointing just like in Signs or whatever. So puny and fake looking, not scary. But good movie!
P.S. Even though I like the reclining seats at Bridgeport, they are too easy for people behind you to kick and knock you around. Ass!
