(no subject)
YAY I just got my housing information in the mail today!! I even got my first choice of dorms. I will be staying in Seifert West and my room number is 114. It also tells me who my roommate is; her name is Jennifer Guenin. I really want to call her right now, but am a little apprehensive. I am such a pussy, lol. I will be living with the girl for a year most likely and I am afraid to make a phone call. Granted I don't like calling in for pizza, so you might see where my apprehensiveness comes in. I hope we have some things in common.
In other news:
Thursday I worked! Yay. I was with the Kritters from 1 to 6. I got to close. I forgot why it's better to work in another group and just get to see the Kritters a bit throughout the day until then. Josh said they were like bouncing off the walls all day and it just started this week. This doesn't usually happen until the second to last week of camp during August.
Friday I went in to work. I was kind of a floater and went where I was needed. At about 130 I realized that there were about 11 kids not swimming and 6 staff watching them. So I said I would leave since I didn't really have definite hours. I came home and talked to Jim Gratner about Saint Joe. It was fun. Glad to know that him and Miranda are doing well. Miranda found a job her first full day being in Oklahoma with him and has two kids taking lessons on piano with her. Later in the afternoon my parents and I went to Lafayette and had supper. We also went into Best Buy and Target. After we did all that I drove seperately and then ventured to Mulberry and onto Nick's house. I was the first to arrive. We watched the season premiere of Degrassi. Realized that this show and high school is a very much toned down version of our lives and our high school. Then we played Euchre. For a while Mel and Kathy were putting up quite some points against us. They did their little run around the table to change the luck once we started to come back. Nick and I won :-D Yay! We then played spoons, I hadn't played in so long. I was also the first one out. I love that game, but darned it if I couldn't play better. Then we watched a movie called "Devour" It was really hard to follow. I don't even want to try to explain any of it because it's just like 'uuuuhh, I ended understanding but it hurts my head to much to think about it.'
Tonight I will be attending the movie "War of the Worlds"
