(no subject)
Jaw still wired together :/ Hopefully when I go to the orthodontist at the hospital on Monday he'll remove the bands. This whole thing is pissing me off, I have to make an appointment with the surgeon because Bolton hospital didn't sort it out meaning I may have to go to Blackburn, which is a 30-45 minute drive away. *sigh*
Personally I think my jaw is moving far too much with these bands on and I don't know if that is supposed to happen! I'm getting really sick of soup and liquidised potatoes, gravy, carrots and meat. We tried to do a curry the other day but the rice just made it all stodgy, so we added cream and it all just came out quite bland and still very stodgy. So I had to make myself another tea then and by the time that was ready I didn't want to eat. I tried to eat Dairylea through the syringe and it worked but not very well, I'm not sure I'm supposed to get cream cheese in my stitches, but there you go.
I'm not back at uni yet although I am supposed to be! They've started doing the brain which is just fantastic, I have to go and miss all the really hard work. I tried to get the lecture notes off the internet but I couldn't tell which ones I needed because stupidly the file names aren't the same as the lecture names. I'm missing so much. I'm going to go back on the 13th but that means I won't be in lectures until the 14th, a wednesday. I'm going to see how it goes for the last three days. The only thing that worries me is my eating. I'm going to have to get up really early to get my breakfast (porridge tastes so much like glue, but at least I can eat it!) and warm some lovely soup up for my dinner. It's going to be so embarrassing having to eat my dinner through a straw!
My tutor has given me a few more days to get my work in because I didn't come back this week. This is a major relief because I was having so much trouble getting an idea for a story. The few that I did write were either too long, too short or just not good enough. The one I have written is a little bland in my opinion but it's the best I can do!
