(no subject)
I should be doing some work but I'm not! We *finally* got our genetics workbooks today which I have already attempted and decided that I don't like! I think I'm up to question 4 of 30 but I'm not so sure about the answers to those 4. I can't remember how to work out risk, if I even understood it the first time so I'll have to consult someone who actually knows which will probably be Adam who will have stolen all the answers from Sally!
I've been so lazy today. Played Theme Hospital when I got back from Uni. Took me ages to actually get off my arse and leave uni. I sat in the computer room for ages because I couldn't be bothered to walk home! It's only 15 mins walk so it's just blatant laziness. Perhaps it had something to with leaving at 8:20am this morning to go see my SSC tutor. I got there 15mins early because it didn't take nearly as long to get there as I thought it would. He saw me then anyway and proceeded to scare me when he questioned me about my essay. He got me to the point where I thought I'd done the whole thing wrong then told me I hadn't and could expect 70% with alterations to the presentation and minor alterations to the text. I'm relieved and pleased, at least I'm only altering to get a better mark and not to try and get the thing up to a pass standard. I may make major alterations and hope that I get an A but I don't know if I have the energy! If this genetics workbook is the same all the way through I could just not have the time. I also have to revise for Principles of Disease. EEEK! I'm falling so far behind! Doesn't help that i hate the course. I missed my tutorial and symposia the other day because I'd been out the night before and just couldn't be bothered to get up. The small amount of good in the course isn't making up for the rubbish part at all. Oh well, Term 2 should be better.
Rhiannon is being annoying. She's now been to Boots twice in the last week and hasn't managed to get ear plugs. I'm sure they sell them, where would my mum get hers from if they didn't? She's sleeping on the pull out in the lounge meaning we don't have a lounge. This is due to the excessive amount of noise the people downstairs make during their night time recreational activities! It must have been two weeks ago she wrote the very polite note asking them to keep the noise down after midnight, and it is still on our kitchen table. She wants to put it through the door at a good time, ie when they aren't in. It's been two weeks! There have been plenty of opportunities! She never tidies the room up after she uses it. She's been in there now for a week. It's ridiculous. I don't know what to do about her in general. She's so untidy and today she used Nina's stuff for her breakfast. We never use Nina's stuff because of her Jewish food rules. *sigh*
I think I'm going to go to read some fic, go to bed early and then get up early and get a start on the work I have to do.
Yeah right! I'm going to read fic until 2am because I was looking for an elusive good Ginny/Hermione fic go to bed at about 3am and then get up in the afternoon and wander the house in my PJs!
Less than a week until I go watching Bob Dylan!! I'm actually getting quite excited!
