Ally's Life Story
--------------------------
---------------

Opening Credits:
Ben Fold's Five- "Brick"
(well isn't THAT depressing! It's all about an abortion!!)

Waking Up:
Sarah McLachlan- "Angel"
(still not particularly upbeat, lol. Well..I've never been a morning person, now have I?)

First Day of School:
Fiona Apple- "Extraordinary Machine"
(lol! finally something upbeat. "if there was a better way to go, then it would find me. i cant help it the road just rose up behind me...")

Falling in Love:
The Faders- "No sleep tonight"
(LOL! NIIIIICE)

Fight Song:
Coldplay- "Kingdom Come"
(really not a fight song, lol. "For you I'd wait..'til Kingdom Come..until my day, my day is done..")

Breaking Up:
Coldplay- "Fix You"
(doesn't make for a good break up song, lol. "lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones..and I will try to fix you.." i love how coldplay does the fight and break up, hehe)

Prom:
Depeche Mode- "Precious"
(um..an interesting choice. At least its not a fast-paced song, lol "..precious and fragile things..need special handling..My God what have we done to you?? things get damaged, things get broken..")

Life:
U2- "Bad"
(*grins* "if you twist and turn away..if you tear yourself into a (??)..if i could, yes i would..i'd let it go..surrender......Let it go..and so fly away"
Essentially..don't hold onto bad stuff..let 'em go)

Mental Breakdown:
Chuck Prophet- "What makes the monkey dance"
(oh man..perfect)

Flashback:
Diamond Nights- "The Girl is Attractive"
(up-beat, at least, lol "she looks good..the girl is attractive...")

Getting Back Together:
Wicked Original Broadway Cast Soundtrack- "Defying Gravity"
(lol, don't see how this works. It's all about leaving everything behind because it turns out everything you've ever wanted isnt what you want anymore)

Wedding:
Tina Arena & Marc Anthony- "I want to spend my lifetime loving you"
(yeah..that works. it's the love song at the end of the first Zorro movie with antonio banderas)

Birth of a Child:
Leigh Nash - "Need to be next to you"
(would have worked better in some of the earlier fields, but eh, it's decent enough for this. it's still a love song)

Final Battle:
Fiona Apple- "Sleep to Dream"
( well..it's angry, certainly. "you say love is a Hell you cannot bear..and i say give me mine back and then go there, for all i care.....i have never been so insulted in my life..i could swallow the seas to wash down all this pride..first you run like a fool to be at my side, but now you run like a fool, but you just run to hide I can't abide...i've got my feet on the ground and i dont go to sleep to dream. you've got your head in the clouds and you're not at all what you seem...don't come around because i've got my own Hell to raise..")

Death Scene:
Haley James Scott- "Halo"
(um..interesting. "one thing is clear..i wear a halo, i wear a halo when you look at me..but standing from here..you wouldnt say so...you wouldnt say so if you were me and i..i just want to love you..)

Funeral Song:
Billy Joel- "Times to Remember"
(this works, kinda. okay, maybe not. Just the title works, haha.
"this is the time to remember..because it will not last forever..")

End Credits:
Gorillaz- "Feel Good Inc."
(hahahaha! i have no clue what this song is about, but whatever. it's fun. "Windmill, windmill...(?????) i'm forever happy now.")
