OMG we have snow............and other random stuff.
Well, after a couple of weeks of kind-of-not-very-serious snow we now have real snow. Started at around lunchtime and hasn't stopped since.
We drove up to George (I didn't finish work till 3.00a.m.)to muck him out at about 12.00ish with Rich and since I can't ride, we put him in his big rug and Rich played footballwith him in the small menage whilst I did all the menial stuff!
He looked awful cute with snowflakes on his eyelashes and forelock. Rich said his rug makes him look like a tortoise. *G*
Rich left after about an hour because the snow was really starting to come down heavy and we were a bit concerned our little car would get stuck on the icy un-treated lane.
I stayed about another hour to give coddling love to my horse then walked the half hour back home through the park. It was be-oo-ti-ful!!
I must admit to finding it less beautiful now I am at work. I'm on the last train back from London tonight at 00:15 and since I don't get back to Derby till 3:00a.m. I am a little worried about getting back home. But the railway needs me so I will soldier on! Wish me luck and where ever you are have a good night :)
