Two more sleeps........
Jo rode George for me today and pronounced him a good dressage horse! He behaved immpecably. So much so that she cut the session short with the words every mama loves to hear 'that'll do him. He's just fab!'
Got my times for sunday - warm up class at 12.45 and championship class at 1:06 - I really couldn't have wished for better because it means I can cut down the amount of time spent in the collecting ring. It's always a challenge because it's usually busy and George can be very naughty in there. Jo has suggested a red ribbon on his tail to try to keep people from coming past too close cos it freaks him out and whilst he doesn't kick, well, they don't know that!
So, schooling is finished now. Nice hack tomorrow and then THE day is upon me. We've worked so hard I just hope all goes well.
Got the final numbers in the class too - 11 in the warm-up and 23 in the championship. I am trying to stay calm!
