The car boot sale that wasn't!
Got up early this morning (why wouldn't I? I'm used to it right??) to take some unwanted stuff to our local-ish carboot sale. Usually it's a great place to sell stuff but today was an absolute waste of time. Loads of people about but hardly sold a thing so wound up bringing it home again.
Never mind - I expect we'll go again in a few weeks.
On a good note though there was a lady there who was closing her saddlery shop down and I bought a gorgeous new bridle in brown with a crystal browband for just £22. They retail at over £60 so I guess it was worth going just for that. ;-) I really wanted a new bridle for competing George in but had resigned myself to not being able to afford one. Yay!
I will try it on him this afternoon and hopefully it will fit as he is a bit of an odd size!
If he looks sexy I will endevour to take a pic.
