they say its your birthday
its been an awesome weekend of the realization i have so many people who care about me. even today i was pleasantly surprised in many aspects. marie rocks my world! i love that she brings me swedish fish and jolly ranchers and a balloon. she is amazing. i filled up my margarita cups i got from ashley with candy since i won't use them for much else. i realized i'll always be the kid turning alcohol bottles and cups into something cute or innocent. hell, i used twisted tea bottles with bath salts inside for christmas presents. i'm so cool. i;m glad that part of me won't change and if it does i'll fix it.
i was a nerd today and went to class. all three. i used up all my absences and i figured, why not? i had a whole weekend of celebration. came home and had a nice dinner with my family, bought a sexy fragrance with my gift certificate from my sister *ralph lauren rocks my world, even though its call ralph...vom...* went to the summer house, played with my mad libs, and caught up with an old friend. i'm glad i talked to him today. i'm glad it was such an unusual conversation. maybe it was because it was my birthday and i was obligated to have a long and seemingly interested conversation with someone, but it was really nice and i hope things will work out so i can go to the park and go on swings and feed the ducks. i may be 19 today, but i'll always have the 5 year old inside of me.
i'm listening to my old birthday mixes from ryan. he was the mix master. and hopefully he'll give me my cds he made months ago. and cd's from jon before work tomorrow.
all in all it has been the best birthday ever. lots of friends, lots of love and lots of smiles and a surprising lack of bruises. damn pig piles...
now all i need is my ipod...
