Addendum
So, to update the last pathetic entry i put on this biatch, things are starting to turn around a little bit. Met a pretty cool girl over here who lives a floor below me. Get this...she loves beer, smokes the occasional cigar or clove, and she loves to party. Do the words will you marry me come to mind? JJ I really enjoy her company, the bitch of it is, I don't know much about her. Only been together in larger groups at the clubs. She's a great dancer though and that's fun too. There just may be hope for the Danster yet.
London is great. I love this city. The people i go to school with and live with are awesome. I don't miss home except for my friends and family. At the same time though, e-mail and the phone keep me in touch with the good old US (more than i'd like to be sometimes). I'm just gonna enjoy the hell out of this while i can.
I need a job though next summer. Preferably along the lines of an internship(paid only). I have more talking to do with the Detroit Lions and Ford, so that's kind of promising right now!
My parents just celebrated their 25th anniversary yesterday. I didn't sit down and think about what that meant until yesterday afternoon. 25 years...more than half their lives together. Hard to believe that people can tolerate each other for that long. Weird, but inspiring.
Haven't talked to shelby since earlier in the weekend. I got the "i'll send you an e-mail soon" line, but i'm not banking that i'll get one now or at all until she gets bored of hanging out with people at home. I see more clearly now than ever that i'm just a fallback for her. Fuck that! I have too much to offer to sit around waiting for someone who will only care about me when they're good and ready. So after 2 years of going through this shit in my head, I can say with the upmost confidence right now that it is over. PERIOD! No and, ifs, ors, or buts. I feel relieved. Like parole!
To my dear boy frison: I have tried 15 types of beers over here in London, and they are all FABULOUS! I'm going to Berlin in a few weeks then Dublin, so more beers are on the way!
