Wishbone may have cancer according to his vet...I don't remember the last time I cried so hard.
My mom took him today when the doctor told her that the queer lump growing on his lip could be cancer. Didn't say much else, just took blood and said that, if he proved stable enough to be anesthetized, they'd cut it off. From there, the vet says that if it doesn't grow back it's probably not cancer but if it does grow back it's probably cancer and...well, you know what would happen from there...my mom doesn't want to pay for therapy...
He's only 12 damnit.
I don't even know what else they're going to test with that blood. They could do so much with it. If my mom's not going to pay for a biopsy they could test for cancer markers in the blood...but, as doctors normally do, the vet didn't say much of anything and we don't know what she plans to do with the blood sample or why...just that she was going to take blood and get back to my mom tomorrow.
I've had him since he was 1 month old and since I was 9...I'm 21 and not ready to let go of my Shinigami yet...
