Sadness
I was cleaning out my 10 gallon tank when I noticed that the divider slipped and Malakai and Hrothgar were on the same side of the tank. I moved Malakai in to the little 1 gallon on my desk and Anu is back in the 10 gallon with Hrothgar. I never should have named him after a king, he really tore Malakai's up. His body is fine...no missing scales or anything...but his tail is completely shot. He tore off two good chunks. Hrothgar's fine...maybe one or two small tears...I feel sad for Malakai :-(.
By the way, I'm starting to think that the reason why we want to have pets around is to find companionship and purpose in our lives...not that my fish are good conversationalists, but I feel less sad most of the time since I take care of/watch these three swim around. Who would have thought watching them swim could be so amusing...
