party and graduation :)
I went to two graduations yesterday, one for my sister the other for Jess and Danny Sweet. Fallon's graduation was good...I brought a book to read for the speeches. I listened to the salutatorian and valedictorian speeches because they're friends of my sister...besides that I'm not a fan of graduation speeches. They all say the same thing year after year and I'm not a fan of speeches that are just a recreation of something from before. It feels more like the speakers are saying meaningless words so they can get the whole speech over and done with...so yeah, I'm not a fan of that. The class song was pretty good, I thought the composer did a good job with that. By the way, the whole planes flying over the graduation timed perfectly with the class song was a good touch :).
It was also good to see my sister walk across the stage and get her diploma. She's off to the College of the Holy Cross in the Fall...I'm so proud of her, I think she did a good job :). Good luck to her, though...she wants to make her own major...Biophysics, she says...I'll stick to Biochemistry, thanks :P.
The Sweets graduation was fun. I got dressed up and met Dave...I thought he looked really good last night when he was dressed up :). Saw a few people I haven't seen in a while and I had a grand ol' time with the people I was sitting with for dinner. My face hurt towards the end from smiling and laughing so much. Justin, Dave, and Josh are so funny together. Then watching everyone dance (especially Justin) was so funny...everyone looked like they were having a good time. So yeah, dancing and partying with these people last night was actually amazingly fun and I'd do it again...Dancing with Dave was fun, another thing I'd do all over again. I sat outside with him for about fifteen minutes looking at the night sky during the party...sooo nice.
