(no subject)
well, we are offically rid of the bottle!!! yes, everyone, it's true. Alanna will be a year old on saturday and we have gotten rid of the bottle. hard, but possible. so we are a toddler and the next steps are gettin rid of the pacifier and potty training.
wow i wish i could get a sound clip on here. alanna sounds like maggie simpson with her pacifier. it's freakin hilarious. anyhow..... so i'm gettin ready for a party on saturday. gonna have food for people and cake, snacks for the lil ones. man, i'm kinda nervous. but that's ok. i dont mind having people to the house. i just hope it doesnt rain so the babies can play a little outside. need to but more snacks for small goody bags and i'm pretty much ready except for the cooking i'm gonna do tomorrow.

maybe some lumpia (but i'm makin some to freeze for myself)

the husband used to be under the impression that you only needed sunscreen on days when the sun was shining bright. "it's all cloudy... i dont need it." that was lesson number one. always wear sunscreen when you're lily white and outdoors. well, i got him to wear the sunscreen, but he missed a spot (two, actually).
so lesson number two....apply sunblock to ALL exposed areas. hahahhaha
