I realize that I've been updating this little space of mine on a weekly basis. Like a mass update over the weekends. HAHHAHHHHA. So yup, here's one for this week. It's going to be a darn wordy entry & minimal images. Or rather NO images.

Headed home straight after knocking off, for consecutively 4days straight. From Monday to Thursday. Solely because yours truly is hooked onto this 9pm's drama serial on Channel8. Hence, in order not to miss any episodes, I chose to hit home immediately. HAHAHHHHA.
So anyway, work has been fine. So far so gooooood. It's already Week 7. Yes, thats how fast time flies. 5 more weeks & I'm over & done with internship. How great is that. I'm still doing the same old stuffs over & over again everyday. Dang, it's superrrr boring. But well, I'm glad to have the rest of the interns with me. Gossiping + bitching, like everyday without fail. Love you deepdeep & manymany, XOXO!. (Inside joke! HAHHAHHA.)

Friday friday friday. Instead of working, we, interns, chose to attend this New Hires Orientation. Yes, orientation with the new employees/hires from other HQs & countries. I swear it was a tad toooo boring. We had ice-breaking session, introductions, speech by various HODs, stupid games, presentation on the corporate hierarchy & company's history blablabla.
'Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm from the HR Dept. I joined ST as an intern in May 2008.'
Helluva stupid, I can't help it but to keep muttering myself over & over again.

Ohwells, we were actually looking forward to go for the plant tour in the afternoon. Plant tour as in to visit the various wafer fabs, over at other branches. Sounds uninteresting uh?. But we were getting a tad too excited over this excursion. Like preparing on the stuffs to bring along for the excursion blablabla. & the perm staffs were laughing at us for being so excited. They called us KIDS. HAHAHHHHAHHA. You know larrrr, kids love excursions!. We're of no exception. Except that we're big kids. HAHHAHHHHHA.
Plant tour for us was eventually cancelled. Due to the fact that there were insufficient seats in the bus. The new hires were the priority, so we didn't have the chance. How sad uh!. You can imagine how exaggerating the perm staffs were laughing at us lar!.

On a similar note, an announcement was made on Friday. With effect from that particular Friday, on the subsequent Fridays, interns will knock off from work at a freaking 1730pm!. Thats the special priviledge that the interns from HR Dept have. Uberrrr happy!. Woohoooo~

Retail therapy with Shanmin after knocking off from work on Friday. Towned. Dinner was at CrystalJade. Like again, I was craving for XiaoLongBaos. Satisfying dinner & then proceeded on for some retail therapy. Shopping does burns calories toooo, you know?. HAHAHHHHHHA. Chilled at NYDC before heading home. I was already dead beat by the time I reached home. Awwwww.

Saturday has always been my hibernation day, ever since IAP started. However, it was an exception for last week & this week. Met up with Darling WongTaiYee, over at Bugis this late nooon. Lunched at SeafoodHarvest. The seafood platter for 2, was thumbs-up. Although the portion was obviously smaller than Fish&Co, but the fresh oysters they served were slurping goooood. The usual catching up & whatsoever.
Afterwhich, went around hunting for Brother's uber late birthday prezzie. Which was around one month ago. I still couldn't find anything appropriate for him in the end. Moreover, I freakinggg hate weekend crowds. Everywhere's on sales. I hate sales cuz everywhere would be flooded with humans. Arghhhhh. In contrary, sales = cheap thrills. Agree yea?. Whateverrrrrrr, who cares anyway.
