Fellow Students: What NOT To Do
Being unfamiliar with LiveJournal, I decided it was best to complete my first two blog entries in Microsoft Word before copying and pasting them into LiveJournal. After realizing that it automatically saves your work frequently, I decided it was safe to complete the week three assignment in LiveJournal. Earlier in the week, I had started the blog questions, and when I was interrupted, I saved the entry as private. Yesterday, I opened up the entry to edit and finish it. After over an hour of work on it (yes, I write slowly), I accidentally closed the wrong tab in Internet Explorer and lost all that work. Apparently LiveJournal only automatically saves your work when you post an entry the first time, not when you edit it. Grrr.
