Anyways, TO EVERYONE WHO HAS COMMENTED/MAILED ME & FINDS THIS (that's so few people... o_e): I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet, I've had finals to deal with and my WiFi is an eternal struggle (I'm getting a new service soon, cross you fingers for me).

Things are looking up for me money-wise (thank-goodness for Homeschoolers), so it looks like I'll be able to finish my cosplays after all. :3 I'm so relived to be able to afford those boots I could cry. srsly, those boots have been my gold standard in boots ever since I can remember and I've always wanted a pair of my own. You can call me crazy, but that sound, oh the sound they make.... It makes me so happy. (is this a bad time to mention that the 'fingernails on a blackboard' noise doesn't bother me? lol )
You guys, I sound so shallow! I'm not really... old things just make me happy. :)
Speaking of old things, I finally, officially, own my Great Uncle Eugine's old army backpack! *squee~~* I was so worried for it; my dad takes such horrible care of things and it'd taken the brunt a few times (most notably the Rail-road spikes incident. orz. the poor thing's so full of holes from that.). BUT once I fix it up I'll actually have a functional backpack again (those stupid nylon straps are in the process of coming off my old purple one.)!
Also, I went to what must be the Salvation Army Superstore for our area ( I say 'our' but it's really on the west side, while I'm an east side girl born and bred (The day I realized the east/west thing was universal I Lol'ed so hard. It's true no shit, look anywhere *CoughLondonCough*. ^_~ ).) last Monday. I've been there once before (almost bought a typewriter), and it has the best selection of old books, last time I got a German/English Scientific dictionary ('59), a much annotated copy of 'Leicht und Neu' ('38), and two murder mysteries ( I love those. :3) titled 'The Body Fell On Berlin' by Richard Lakin (quite exciting) ('43), 'Der pfeifende Mörder' (or 'The Perfect Murder', which I'm sure it will be since I still have a small German vocabulary. lol) by Heinz G. Konsalik (is he good? he seems prolific.) ('97), actually it contains two mysteries, 'Der pfeifende Mörder' & 'Der gläserne Sarg', a pair of robin's egg blue skinny jeans for Halloween!Prussia, and an old muff with real fur (I'm not sure what kind, it's black and about 2 1/2 - 3 in. long? All's I know is it's real and not rabbit, fox or seal.)
But on Monday I truly hit the jackpot, it was half-price day. :D I got two Matchbox Twenty CDs, an old college textbook which I think will be very helpful titled 'First Book in German' by James A. Chiles & Josef Wiehr ('48) (soooo many annotations/underlining/paperclips/taped on tabs. XD), and two 'new' dictionaries! A little pocket-sized one called 'Langenscheidt's Shorter German Dictionary' (Ger/Eng & Eng/Ger) by Prof. E. Klatt and G. Golze ('54), and my little gem- 'Cassell's German Dictionary' by Elizabeth Weir circa. 1897 (Ger/Eng & Eng Ger). Fucking 1897! I am utterly over the moon to say the least. It has a pressed leaf in it. :3 In my opinion old dictionary's have all the good words in them (which is why I only use the English Dictionary (50's) I got from an a old-lady friend of mine for helping her clear out her house.). All I need to do now is learn to read in a new and confusing font. I want to know who's big idea it was to make lower-case L's, K's, F's and one of the two forms of S look practically the same. My bet is it's the same guy who made Capital R's look like K's until you see them side-by-side, and capital J's and I's exactly the same. Ahg, reading it gives me a headache. >_<*
I also finished-up two FSTs, a GermaniaRome & a GerPru. ^________^
