I stare up at the ceiling for what seems forever. Alex is downstairs talking to his parents about what will happen this next year at school. Tomorrow is the first day, and it's his senior year. I'll only be a junior, so that means after this year, Alex will be moving on to better things: college. I'm gonna go ahead and be selfish for a bit and say that I really don't want him to go.
I suddenly feel a weight jump on top of me. I look and see Alex grinning at me with such a bright smile.

"I'm just thinking about what will happen after you graduate."
