Zack wasn’t exactly sure how the ‘Alex and Rian’ meeting would go. At first he thought it would be a disaster, because Rian was still coming down from his high when Zack called him to invite him over. He’s getting pretty good at being able to tell when Rian’s on something. But then when Rian actually arrived, he looked completely sober, and really well-dressed. But honestly, he knew that it could go either way.

William’s over as well. Obviously, Alex can’t handle meeting Rian on his own, so he forced the older boy to come over. And, since William can’t go anywhere without Gabe, the tall dark skinned male is sitting at the kitchen table as well. Oh, and since Gabe can’t keep his damn mouth shut, Kyle and Sisky and Brendon are also here. Zack wants to go jump out the fire escape window. Especially when Gabe opens his mouth.

“So….Rian. It is Rian, right?” He leans back in his chair at the table, ignoring the warning glance from William, “I just need to know - what are your…intentions concerning my little buddy Zachary here?”

Zack puts his head in his hands, absolutely mortified. He should have known this was going to happen. It had been going all too well - everyone was acting normally, and Alex seemed to be warming up to Rian. He hears Rian laugh a bit beside him and then he feels the older boy’s hand on his knee. That doesn’t really comfort him, but it’s sweet anyway.

“Gabe, shut up,” Alex interrupts before Rian has to come up with an answer, “Just eat your pizza and leave the kid alone.”

“Actually,” Brendon says, sitting up straighter and reaching into his hoodie pocket, “Kyle and I took the time to print this out and we would really appreciate it if you could just fill it out and get it back to us as soon as possible.” There’s a lightness to the boy’s tone that tells Zack that he’s completely joking, but fuck, this is embarrassing.

He gets a glimpse of the paper that Kyle slides across to Rian. The bold letters at the top read “APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO DATE MY DAUGHTER”. “You’re both assholes,” he mumbles under his breath.

“Aw, Zee, lighten up,” Kyle says enthusiastically, speaking with his mouth full of food, “We’re just kidding around. And besides, it’s not like Rian’s taking us seriously. Right Rian?”

Rian just smiles and Zack figures that’s because he really doesn’t know what else to do. He sends the boy an apologetic smile, and Rian just squeezes his knee.

“Hey, listen,” Gabe says, suddenly sounding serious, “I’m just looking out for someone who’s like a little brother to me. Gotta make sure he’s in good hands, don’t I?”

With that, Zack just gives up and rests his head completely on the table. He should have known that this would just be completely embarrassing.

“You know I don’t care about what people think of me.”

“Well…yeah, I know, but I still want you and Alex to get along.”

Rian shrugs and lies back on Zack’s bed, “It’s not like we don’t get along… We just don’t really know each other.”

“But that’s the thing,” Zack tries to explain. He sits lies down beside Rian and stares up at his ceiling, “My family… It’s a different kind of family. We’re all really close…we all share pretty much everything with each other. And I just really want everyone to get along and get to know you, because you’re awesome.”

“I am pretty awesome.”

“I’m serious, come on. Can you please just try a little bit more to get along with Alex? And that means getting me home on time. And not convincing me to skip school. And…maybe not smoke so much around me?”

Rian sighs and rolls over so he’s facing Zack, “Fine. I’ll do it for you.”

“Thanks,” Zack leans in and presses his lips to Rian’s, sighing softly when he feels Rian’s hands on his waist, “And I’m sorry everyone was so embarrassing.”

“It’s fine… They’re looking out for you. I didn’t exactly give them a good first impression, did I?”

Zack laughs, “That’s true. But I think they’re getting to like you a little more.”

The older boy nods, his lips finding Zack’s again and his fingers pulling at his t-shirt. He slips the shirt upwards, and Zack assists him in taking it off. As Rian’s hands travel all along his chest, he can feel his heartbeat speed up, like it normally does when they’re intimate like this. The butterflies that he has what feels like twenty four/seven, they’re full force now as Rian pushes him so he’s flat on his back.

Rian’s lips attach to his collarbone, nipping and sucking, determined to leave a mark - determined to show everybody that Zack is his. Zack’s tilts his head back into his pillow, breathing deeply in order to get some much needed air. Rian’s hand moves down and rubs at the bulge in his jeans. They’re tightening by the second and he wishes Rian would just get on with it.

“Rian,” Zack whispers as his boyfriend straddles him, “Ri, I want you.” He doesn’t care that Alex and everyone else is still out in the kitchen. If they’re quiet, nobody will know a thing.

“Oh, do you?” Rian smirks as he works on unbuttoning Zack’s jeans at the same time that he grinds his hips down, “Are you sure?” He makes quick work of pulling the jeans down his legs, tossing them onto the floor.

“Y-yeah. Please, Ri-”

“Okay, baby. But we have to be quiet… I don’t want Alex to come in and rip my head off.”

“I’m pretty sure he’d just rip your dick off, actually.”

Rian mumbles, “Whatever,” against Zack’s lips before pressing them together again.

They quickly shed the rest of their clothes, making sure to whisper and keep as quiet as possible. Occasionally, they hear Gabe scream something “I win!” from the living room, so they’re pretty sure that everyone’s busy. But still, it doesn’t hurt to be on the safe side.

“You know it’s going to hurt, right?” Rian asks as he sits up, his hands trailing over Zack’s abs, “I mean, it’s your first time, so it’s -”

“Yeah, I know,” Zack responds, his voice shaking, “But you’ll go slow…right?”

“Of course I will. Do you have any condoms? Or lube?”

“Oh,” Zack sits up and points to his desk drawer, “In there.”

Rian gets up and takes the few steps over to Zack’s desk and pulls the drawer open. He pushes a few things aside before he finds what he needs. “If you’ve never had sex, nor had a boyfriend before… How come you have so many condoms?” he asks with a smile as he makes his way back to the bed.

Zack blushes hard, “I dunno… Wishful thinking?” When Rian laughs, he shakes his head, “Just kidding. When you live with someone who got himself knocked up, you tend to find condoms placed around your room.”

“I guess he’s paranoid.”

“Just a little bit.”

“Don’t worry… I won’t knock you up. Promise.”

“Thanks, I appreciate it.”

Zack smiles, but then he starts to feel nervous as Rian’s hand slips between his legs. The older boy lies down right beside him, hitching one of Zack’s legs over his own.

“Just relax, okay?” he says as his finger presses in slightly, “Don’t tense up.”

The smaller boy nods, his breath hitching as Rian presses all the way in. It doesn’t hurt, exactly… it’s just uncomfortable, if anything. He tries to control his breathing, and it helps when Rian presses small kisses to his neck and his jaw. When he adds a second finger, though, he feels the pain. He bites his lip, trying his best to stay relaxed, because that’s what Rian told him to do.

A few minutes later, Rian has three fingers inside of him and asking, “Do you think you’re ready?”

“I-I guess,” Zack sputters, his fingers gripping the sheets, because it still sort of hurts. But not as badly as before.

“Hey, don’t be nervous, alright?” Rian says softly, moving so that he’s between Zack’s legs, “It’s just me. And you trust me, right?”

“Of course I do.”

“Relax, alright?”

Zack nods at the reminder, wrapping his arms tightly around Rian’s waist as he pushes in. And holy shit, is it really supposed to hurt that much? Why would anyone even want to do this? He’s about to tell Rian to just stop, because his ass feels like it’s burning and there’s water threatening to spill out of his eyes - and that would just be embarrassing.

But then Rian tells him it’s all okay, that it’s going to get better. And just hearing Rian’s voice sort of calms him down enough.

“O-okay,” he says a few minutes later, “You can move…just go slow?”

“Yeah,” Rian assures him breathlessly, “I just…”

He doesn’t finish his sentence, but he moves his hips, snapping them forward into Zack’s and trying to get the best angle possible. He feels awful that Zack’s hurting so badly, and he wants to fix it. It takes him a good minute to get a rhythm going, and then finally, he finds Zack’s prostate.

“Shit,” Zack hisses, his eyes shutting as he throws his head back, “Holy shit.”

Rian silences him with a kiss, reminding him that everyone else is still in the kitchen just a few hundred feet away. When he pulls away, Zack is panting, fingers gripping the sheets so tightly, his knuckles are turning white. “You okay?” Rian asks, just to be sure. He smiles when Zack just nods.

It doesn’t take much longer for the both of them to reach their climax. Zack gasps loudly, gripping Rian’s shoulder as he comes onto his chest and his hand. His back arches as Rian slams into him one more time before releasing into the condom.

“Oh, fuck,” The older boy breathes, his hips slowing down, “Fuck, that…”

Zack just nods, too out of breath to say anything else. He takes deep breaths to replenish his air supply as Rian pulls out, taking off the condom and throwing it into the garbage.

“Was that good?” Rian pulls Zack close to him, his fingers immediately running through the younger boy’s messy hair, “I didn’t hurt you, right?”

“No - it was amazing. You were amazing.”

“Let’s rest for a little while… I have to meet someone at eleven.”

Zack frowns. He hates it when Rian has to meet his ‘clients’ to sell them more drugs. It makes him so nervous, knowing that anything could go wrong, and Rian could get hurt.

But he doesn’t say anything. Instead he curls into Rian a bit more and pulls his sheets up to cover them, falling asleep to Rian’s heartbeat.

“Hey Alex? How do you spell that word that’s like…really long…”

Alex stares at Gabe, waiting for him to elaborate on his question, but of course, he doesn’t. “I don’t know. Why don’t you try actually giving me a word?”

“Actually, never mind. I see a better opportunity.”

“Okay, whatever.”

The four boys playing Scrabble are sitting at Alex’s kitchen table while Alex attempts to make coffee. As he’s trying to figure out how he’s supposed to turn the damn machine on, Kyle asks, “Hey, whose jacket is this?”

Alex looks over, “That’s Rian’s. Hang it on the back of a chair.” He turns back to his coffee maker, trying to figure out which button to press first. When he thinks he’s finally got it, he puts the coffee mug in the right spot and presses “start”.

“I hate these high tech coffeemakers,” He says, turning back towards his friends. But instead of seeing them all playing Scrabble, he sees them all huddling together, staring at something in Kyle’s hands. “What are you looking at?”

Brendon looks up first, biting his lip, “This came out of Rian’s pocket…” He holds up a small plastic bag, “I think he sells drugs, Alex.”
