The first day of Freshmen year. Great. This is supposed to be a fun year right, or is that Senior? This is the 'big transition' supposedly. We go from middle school to high school, big fucking deal. Every 4 years in 3 different schools, nothing changes. But, you never know I guess. I don't see him changing his feelings about me though, that is unless I finally get the guts to talk to him more. It's my fault of course, all I do is just stare and daydream about him, I should be talking more. Way to go Alex, way to go.
I walk through the double doors of the new school. Wow, I didn't expect to be this nervous. Pull it together, just pull it together. Telling myself that became very difficult once i saw him. Tight Blink-182 shirt, skinny jeans, and light gray converses. He is so hot, god damn I need to get over this stupid crush.
I make my way to homeroom with some help from a few teachers. Another suckish thing with a new school. Getting lost. I walk in and take a seat at an empty desk. I'm relieved when I see my best friend Rian come and sit next to me.
"Hey," He says grinning.
"Hi," I can't help but grin back, he gives off such a positive vibe.
"Sup?"
"Nothin' much."
"You sure? Something seems to be bugging you," He says with a concerned look.
"I can't get over, well, you know who," I respond sadly.
"Oh I should've guessed that."
I sigh, "Whatever, this is gonna be a long 4 years."
"Oh please Alex, c'mon would you just live in the moment for once," He begs.
"I really want to. Lets just see what happens, " He just nods in response.
