wrote the book of the seven seas
so i have carpal tunnel real bad, last night i could barely move my hands. today is a bit better, but it was a scarey thing. i have a doctors appointment for it friday, hopefully they can cure it, or atleast slow it down a bit. but this is terrible. all i do is play guitar, its what im good at. ive been playing for the past 12 years and i cant imagine life with out. i pray it dosent get that bad, but im planning for the worst, i need to get as much done as possible. within the next 6 months, i hope to do the following things, and if youd be involved, id appreciate all your help in getting this done:
-a pitboss 2000 lp, recorded and released, prolly around 20 songs. perhaps get a few more shows under our belt too
-a jam band/rock/raggae/roots type album. ive been planning this for a while, id like to see it get done while i can. play a few shows on that too. ideally id love to play the tweeter center, but im gonna be more realistic (well, not too realistic) and shoot for the mullins center.
-learn both solos in bark at the moon the exact way jake played them, and play it live some where.i started this tonight, i got about 6 seconds into the solo before my brain and hands gave out, ill resume work on this tomarrow.
-do an acoustic something with cody. he's the dave grohl of charlton, absolutely insane with octave chords and harmonies.
-record any riffs im not using on these projects, in case someone needs them for future stuff.
-show someone all the tricks ive learned over the years, i dont know who yet.
i could very well be over reacting, but id rather plan for the worst and have it done not need it, then need it and not have it.
