I've written enough comments now that I think, maybe, I feel slightly obligated to actually write something for this site. A contest with deadlines might just encourage me to actually do it. I'm thinking I'll play it "safe" and go with the VD challenge. Mostly because I struggle with writing happy stories (something I'd love to do, honestly), and that one can't be that hard to get right, right?
