Masterpost!

After some bad dreams of groupies trying to suffocate me with band merch, I woke up to the sensation of someone tugging at my jeans and sharp pain shooting through my body. I opened my eyes and was relieved for a second because it was Jack but then I remembered that there was a problem.

I tried to tell him to stop but I couldn’t get a word out. Panic threatened to overwhelm me. I knew he had to find out sooner or later, but I didn’t want him to see them just now. When I finally managed to cry out he was just about to succeed and pull down my trousers.
“Jack! No! Please don’t!” Jack looked slightly shocked and his brown eyes looked at me in surprise. “Why? What’s wrong, Lexy?” I tried not to cry. He hadn’t noticed yet but his hands were scarlet red.

“Look at your hands”, I told him, the first sobs escaping, “look at them.” Jack looked down. He didn’t know what the red colour was but after a few seconds of thinking, I could see the penny drop.

His eyes widened in shock. “NO! ALEX! What happened?” He started yanking my pants down again, and this time I let him. The tears were all over my face. When finally the pants had gone down, I could see his eyes starting to well up, his lips starting to tremble. He let his gaze wander over my thighs and my hips. Old white scars between new pink ones, healed wounds between fresh cuts. And one especially deep slash, still bleeding, that went through a little artery on my hip.

“Alex, why?” He was now sobbing uncontrollably, his whole body shaking. I wanted to reply, but I was sucked into darkness.
