Well, I've done all the damage I can do on this massive website overhaul project. My eyes are bleary from too little sleep and the strange dreams I've had about this when I do sleep (I see most of us have insomnia in common :-). To paraphrase a verse from Ecclesiastes, "from much business comes many dreams." At least I haven't had to run the gauntlet night after night through a literal maze of programming code to figure out how to make it work (one of my most memorable work-related set of nightmares).
When I go live with it - hopefully on Tuesday - I'll shoot y'all a link so you can check it out.
Now I'm doing my regular 1 pm - 5 pm sales gig, after which I plan to go home and chill. The Feast can't get here soon enough for me - I had the bright idea last night of taking a portable fan with me this year. Mom and I are sharing a room unless the Hyatt has suites, which I'm willing to upgrade to, and she freezes if the temperature goes below 75 and I burn up if it's higher than 70. I always try to make sure she's comfortable because I know the cold's not good for her, but I can't even think about relaxing or sleeping when it's too hot.
Jon, you need a haircut! Thanks for your posting on Richard Pinelli's sermon on "Untimely Death" and the fall Holy Days. That sermon gave me a perspective that never occurred to me. And the Holy Days help us to understand how much God wants a relationship now and eternally with and loves His creation. It's very humbling, in my opinion.
Time to get going - love you all.
