flight 02 → SCIENCE!! I mean video / action
[good morning, johto! today you get a view of the entrance to route 30, in cherrygrove. Those in the area may find a teenager clad in uh. well. viking fur and a scarf rolling out some... contraption towards the pokemon infested grass. For those who are looking at this from the network, the feed shakes a bit before a wheel shows on screen, and then that very same teen and what looks to be a catapult show up on screen. he looks, uh, happy.]
I-- I did it! The days of missed Pokéballs is-- is over!
[and as he says this, he's loading a pokeball unto the catapult. he waits. after a while, a pidgey flies by. this catapult? is now being aimed at that pidgey. hiccup's adjusting his grip on the catapult, his fingers shaking in ~excitement~. deep breaths.]
Okay... Okay... Here goes.
[and he releases the ball. it goes flying. the pidgey? well, let's just say it didn't go near the pidgey.
If you need any indication of where it went? Well. Towards Cherrygrove. Also, there's a very loud OW and then crash in the distance. If you're in the area, you might've just been hit by a flying pokeball. if you're not, well... good for you. guess who's taken his hands off the catapult and is now looking around sheepishly? yeah, hiccup.]
So-- that didn't go as planned. I'll just, uh, put it away and no one has to kn-- [and when he turns around, he sees the pokégear. there's a happy "dratini!" and all a sudden... his face? not so happy anymore. he facepalms.] -- And now there's evidence.
Oooh boy. [there's some pokémon... snickering from the peanut gallery. hiccup's approaching the pokégear.] What are you laughing at-- [then the feed zooms up on his hand, before it cuts off abruptly.]
