I haven't made a fanmix in a while but Troy and Gabriella needed one. I think it's fair to say I'm obsessed by them. Ten songs that I feel fit their relationship in some way or another. I hope you enjoy.

[This is their first meeting at the ski lodge at the end of December and their favorite partof their vacation. They ring in the New Year together before they have to part. Troy and his parents leave the lodge the following day, leaving Gabriella alone]

[When the two meet up again at East High, people immediately start wondering what that's all about. From Chad noticing Troy looking at her in homeroom, to Gabriella asking Taylor about Troy. No-one knows why or how they're so interested in each other - but they know that there's something there]

[When everyone discovers that Troy and Gabriella are up for the roles in the musical, they're confused. Sharpay and Ryan are threatened, Chad and the basketball team think Troy's gone completely crazy, and Taylor fears for their chances at the Scholastic Decathalon. They just don't seem to understand]

[Troy POV. There's something about Gabriella that's different from all the other girls. He's not quite sure what it is but it's affecting him. He's getting detention, he's keeping secrets, missing basketball practice. All because he wants to sing with her]

[Gabriella's POV. She's feeling something she's never felt before. Being with Troy makes her feel braver and do things she was too afraid to do - like singing. Most of all, she's falling for him.]

[When their friends intervene, Troy and Gabriella's relationship begins to fall apart. Hearing Troy say that Gabriella is 'just a girl' hurts her, especially after she thought he felt the same way about her. When Gabriella tells Troy that she understands and they should just stick to their own thing, he is even more confused and doesn't understand why she suddenly feels like this]

[After their friends come clean about their part in breaking up Troy and Gabriella, Troy knows he needs to convince her to sing with him again. So he goes to her house and climbs on her balcony to sing her the first song they sang together. It's much more than a love song. Their relationship runs much deeper than two people singing a song]
