how are the lonely?
so its monday...
last week was freakishly long. and i wouldnt care to repeat it. it seems like i hung out at the UCF House a lot. monday night i had dinner w/ Deena...or actually i had dinner w/ Shane & Shauna and i had coffee later w/ Deena. Tuesday was laundry night but after the laundry was over Caleb came to the UCF House and then Patrick and Steph and Amanda came. wednesday i taught at Mt. Carmel and afterward we watched The Neverending Story at my apt. then Thursday i went to Gardendale for their college/career thing then Friday was the Moses Mayfield concert at WorkPlay. i was not altogether impressed w/ Moses Mayfield or WorkPlay. first of all, WorkPlay is not very under-21 friendly. it was an extra $3 for me to even get in the door just b/c i'm a few months shy of 21. and then they wouldnt let me sit down anywhere! all the tables and booths are reserved for 21 & older. (cause people tend to by more drinks if they're sitting down...at least thats what i'm told.) so i had to stand up the whole freakin time... and Moses Mayfield was ok i guess...i mean they sound like every other band. and their lead singer has horrible stage presence. i found that i liked the band more once i sat down on the floor and couldnt see him anymore. however, the band that opened up for them was AMAZING! it was the Gabe Dixon band...there was only a keyboardist/lead singer, a guy that played the standing bass, and a drummer. they were like...awesome. and they were really nice too. we talked to the drummer afterward. after the concert we went to Al's and ate hummus & pita bread. mmm. Saturday Ashley Grace moved in! there was a little problem getting the furniture put together but other than that things we smoothly. later on, Amber stopped by on her way back from the beach and we all cooked dinner at Michael/Shane/Clayton's apt. Sunday Ashley Grace and i did pretty much nothing until 5:30 when we left for Red Mountain. after church a whole bunch of us helped Jay (my Greek professor) move some furniture to his basement then we ate at Arby's. and now its monday again and...yeah.
