Yesterday an old
ex of mine called. I had never expected to hear from him ever again.
I don't know what to think about it. Maybe it's best not to think of it at all. It could have been deemed a business call, but there wasn't enough business in it for my liking.
I kind of feel pity. And then I feel ashamed. If he asked for my help (i.e., conversation or friendship) I wouldn't hesitate. But he never does, and I don't know if I can feel anything for that - least of all feel sorry for it.
