Dogs in the Snow!

We were out at the local 7th day advantist school, which is closed. Or has so few students I never see any. Their fields are HUGE, and good for running the hell out of Bodie.

A friend of ours brought her dogs with, Bodie likes her, and pretends her puppy Bruce Wayne doesn't exist.

The Dogs are as follows...

A word I made up for a lab/german shorthair mix. I figure other people get to name their mutts fancy things, why not me?

lol I'm not judging; I call my rottie/lab mix a Rottador. I just wondered where the "short" came from.

I'm a firm believer int he notion that the only difference between my ancient shortadoor and the average cockapoo or whatever is price tag.

As I remember Nelly being a three-legged bully mix, and Lucy having Marx brothers tan eyebrows and looking like a Schnauzer (maybe Airedale) cross, who/what is the miniature Bullamute?

I'm not nearly so fancy (or inventive, lol!). Duncan's a Mutt. If we're getting technical, a large brown one.

I think she did dna testing and found out that one of them is a bull terrier/malamute mix, if I'm remembering correctly.

Somehow I had missed or forgotten that, thanks!

Oh, mine are also just mutts, don't worry. I had DNA testing done on Lucy and she came back as a SuperMutt with distant traces of Miniature Bull Terrier and Malamute, which I thought was hilarious. Also, Miniature Bullamute=inherently funny!

That's hilarious. The DNA test results, I mean. The Miniature Bullamute is just too cute, because the idea of a fluffy-coated, eggheaded dog hits all my "awww" buttons.

Duncan's came back strongest to a possible Border Collie grandparent, then traces of Lab, Poodle and Doberman. I suppose I could try to claim Bordador Doodleman RePinscher, but that just takes too long. ;) I wonder if they've actually tried their tests on know mutt to mutt crosses, or if they just assumed that breed markers from purebred samples would breed true....
