I totally am a sucker for the central statements that you slip into your fics like "That was the problem with House. He didn’t really fit in anywhere." I like how these phrases define his character and label him the very special individual that he is.

Besides the fact that Cuddy hasn't seen House in a while and the first "encounter" is seeing him kiss another woman, I like the unavoidable double forbiddenness of this situation since his friends weren't supposed to meet nor contact him. It throws both of them out of balance, Cuddy because it was probably the last thing she would have expected to happen while House is "locked up" and House because he most likely didn't expect to see again Cuddy until he would leave Mayfield.

You gave Lydia just the right amount of jealousy and discernment to end up a little hurt but at the same time not pushing the situation with House any further. (I mean even if he went for her, we all know where this would have ended) And your written Nolan gives me the exact same vibe as TV show Nolan, he has this soothing, relaxed attitude trying to solve obscurities in a very calm manner. House is very vulnerable in this story but I like it because the setting allows it and it's not out of character.

Nolan is the cutest matchmaker :) I love how you make him House's wingman at the second fundraiser. And that very last tiny chat between Nolan and House is just so meaningful <3

Btw your Lucas bashing is almost as good as your Cameron bashing ;D
