Wonderful. Each character was spot on. House, Cuddy, Rachel and even Wilson. A very good prompt.

Many, many favorite bits:

“Was there tongue?” House said, getting worked up.

“No. My mouth is closed for all tongues not belonging to Gregory House,”

I love how you resolved the conflict in this fic (although...there are still some loose ends for you to explore!!!!!!!!!!!), and I stopped and re-read your line "We process reality differently. " several times - not merely because it was extraordinarily insightful, but because it was also a timely reminder to me that many of us DO process reality differently. In my professional life, people fib to me all the time (or, more politely, they tell me what they think I want to hear), and I think that when one listens to endless fibs, and becomes practiced in the art of discerning truth from peoples actions, that one can easily end up like House in this story - genuinely struggling to understand how to be honest, and not merely wanting to please
