Sin: Gluttony
Words: 201

The Doctor did nothing in half measures. Everything new he discovered in Pete's world, he dove into every hobby, every food, every pop culture media as if he was a dying man and that was the only glass of water left in the world. So when he discovered a bakery near their flat that mad banana flavored cupcakes with banana crème frosting and edible bearings, he bought every single one they had baked. He came home with 48 cupcakes, and turned on the telly telling himself he'd have just one before Rose got home. Thirty minutes later walked in to find the Doctor still on the couch, clutching his stomach and moaning softly.

Rose rushed to his side concerned until she stepped over the cupcake wrappers.

“Oh Doctor, how many did you eat.” she said brushing his hair out of her eyes.

“Twenty,” he moaned pitifully.

“Twenty? Rose screeched glancing at the uneaten ones still on the counter, “you can't just eat twenty cupcakes.”

“I realize that now Rose.” he retorted petulantly.

Rose patted his new and stood up pausing to glance over her shoulder, “Don't worry you'll get used to this inferior human biology one day.

The Doctor thought the best part of the metacrisis was getting to spend the rest of his life with one Rose Tyler. During this estimation, he greatly underestimated the sheer joy of being able to act upon long suppressed feelings.

His touches no longer had to be fleeting, they could linger and wander. And oh how he loved to wander, exploring had always been his favorite pastime. And Rose Tyler was a lovely uncharted territory.

He could spend hours upon hours learning all the things that made her sigh, made her moan, made her come undone. And thankfully they had forever to do it.

Sin: Greed
Words: 144

In a lot of ways, the Doctor could never be seen as greedy. He'd given up his own comfort, his own happiness, heck even his own people and planet to save everyone else. So when his mobile blared with the ring tone he had exclusively assigned Jackie Tyler, pulling him from the lovely nap he and Rose were taking, those were the last words he expected to hear from her.

“Oi, you greedy prat, don't you think I'd love to see my only daughter on her birthday.” she screeched when he finally picked up.

“Don't worry Jackie, we're still on for dinner. We'll see you promptly at 7:00” he said before closing the phone and silencing the ringer.

Yes, the Doctor had never been greedy, but after all he'd given up he deserved to be a little greedy with Rose Tyler's time.

Sin: Sloth

The Doctor rolled over and grumbled as sunlight poured through the windows. He could hear muffled giggles as he tried to cling to the last few minutes of sleep, even as he felt them slipping through his fingers. His shoulder was jostled roughly and he swatted at the little hand that was the source of the movement.

“Please, daddy, wake up. Mommy and I have been up forever.” a soft voice said as its owner burrowed its way under the blanket so that she could see his face.

“Forever?” he asked wearily running his hand over his face.

His daughter nodded her head, “Yes we've been cleaning and cooking and doing all the things to get ready for Nana to come over. We've been up for four whole hours.” she said dramatically.

“That's my girl. Don't worry I'll get up in a bit to help you two.” he said pulling the covers off of both of them and stretching out on his back.

He felt the bed bounce and then heard the pitter patter of little feet and then heard her voice call out, “You're right mommy, he's just being lazy.

Sin: Wrath

He hadn't earned the nickname The Oncoming Storm for nothing. He had stood down aliens, corrupt humans, even his coworkers at Torchwood realized to steer clear after a particularly rough incident involving Rose and drinks at a bar. But nothing, absolutely nothing could have prepared the world for his behavior when his oldest daughter began dating.

It was bad enough when the guys were mostly innocent who just happened to take a shine to Sarah. And then one of her boyfriends made the mistake of cheating on her, and the Doctor himself was the one to discover it. His mind was taken over by white hot rage as he screamed at the young boy, threatening to destroy him if he ever dared to set foot near his daughter again.

It worked, the boy never so much as showed his face again, but it took a while before any other boy was willing to either.

Sin: Envy
Words: 138

The Doctor folded his arms across his chest as he watched Rose and Jack from across the room. He wasn't sure why he even agreed to bring the Captain along, well that was a lie, he'd decided to bring him along the second Rose had given him that look. But now he wishes that the captain was anywhere but there.

Jack had recommended a planet for their next trip and was now taking Rose around on the dance floor at one of his favorite clubs. He watched as they moved together and fixes them with a steely glare.

Rose caught his eye over Jack's shoulder and mouthed “captain envy?”

With a deep sigh the Doctor pushed himself off of the wall and strode over to them, he was going to show Rose what real dancing was all about.

Sin: Pride
Words: 117

The Doctor was quite excellent at most things in his life. He attributed it to the fact that his brain was still used to his superior biology. No matter what he was going after in life had no doubt that he would be the very best at it.

And to make matters worse, his gob never shut up about how magnificent he was. After a particularly competitive game of darts at the local pub, he'd walked around with his chest puffed for nearly an hour aftewards, crowing to everyone that would listen about his superior skills. But if there's one thing the Doctor was most proud of it was the way he could make Rose Tyler smile.
