Challenge 16 - Recast
Challenge 16 was all about recasting a role with another actor. It was really tough as my favorite shows are usually because I adore the dynamics between certain actors. Still, I sat down and thought hard about each one I was tasked with recasting:
1. Stargate Atlantis - John Sheppard - It's so hard to imagine replacing the gorgeous Joe Flanigan, with his sentient hair and eyebrows with anyone else, but then I recalled another actor who looks HOT in a TAC vest.... Colin Farrell.
2. Eureka - Zoe Carter - Jordan Hinson was a pleasure to watch as Zoe with her zany, rebellious attitude and quick mind (IQ 157!) trying to get away with all sorts of things. If I had to recast the role I'd want someone equally bright and quick and rebellious, and who better than Teen Wolf's Lydia - Holland Roden.
3. Blood Ties - Henry - Henry is a 400 year old vampire who was the son of Henry VIII. Despite his age he has a boyish charm and can be fun, but he can turn kickass/badass in a flash of his fangs. An actor recast in the role would need to have that same aristocratic air about them, and I quite liked Henry Cavill for the role.
4. Lord of the Rings - Arwen - Liv Tyler is so beautiful I could instantly believe she was an Elf and daughter of Elrond. If I had to recast the role I would want another actress with the same Elven beauty, ans the same fierceness. I adore Emilia Clarke in her role as Daenerys Targaryen for those same qualities so... Emilia Clarke for the role :)
5. Supernatural - Castiel - Mischa Collins is superb as Castiel so it would be hard to replace him but if I did have to recast the role I'd be tempted by Alfonso Herrera.
