Electric Tale of Pikachu Changes from canon, if AU: N/A
Personality:
Not too unlike his anime counterpart, Ash is quite outspoken. He isn't afraid to say what he feels about anything or anyone, which includes calling Pikachu - in a sarcastic, yet angry tone - "You think you're awfully smart and cute, huh?" and
"You mean, the three sisters and the loser!". Yes, very similar to his anime counterpart. He does argue a lot with Gary and Misty, especially because of the sole fact that Ash broke her expensive, custom-made bike.
But, wait! There's more. Unlike his anime counterpart, who has absolutely no clue about love, Ash is a total pervert. In fact, he calls Misty's sisters
"beautiful sisters" and even though he does call Misty a loser, there are some times when he stares at her
body. However, the fact that he does crush on older women doesn't stop him from being a good trainer, or living out his dream to become a Pokémon Master. Even so, Ash may be at times an idiot and sometimes even does things without thinking. This includes the time where he helps out Sabrina when she's in trouble. Though he may be doing it for Sabrina, deep inside, he's also doing it for the townspeople. But only a little bit. The amount of him doing this kind of thing for the townspeople is very unlikely, but not impossible. More or less, he's doing it for the girls. Not that he'd ever say anything about it.
He also has peeped in on Misty when she's in the hot springs on several occasions and thinks that
she's hot, though he would never admit that up front.
At the very least, Ash does not make bad decisions, though he might make rash decisions without thinking about them at first. Sure, he doesn't like what Team Rocket stands for, but at least Jessie and James aren't completely bad anymore, since they quit to get married. Whatever.
However, that does not mean he's not an evil person. In fact, he's really kind at heart. At the Kanto Pokémon League, when he battled Ritchie, even though he had won the battle with the two Charizards, but as an honorable trainer who couldn't control his Pokémon without the torch which held the flame of Moltres as well as severely injuring Ritchie's Charizard.
No, seriously. And he forfeited to help out a friend. Sure, he hates losing, but he didn't want to win in such a horrible way. Sure, he felt upset that he had 'lost' the battle and felt like almost giving up his dream - but he knew that if he gave up there, he'd lose for good.
Even though Ash is a complete idiot at times, but he'll do the best that he can in any situation. He's never going to give in, and never going to give up because if he wants to be a Pokémon Master, he has to have the skills to be number one! With each new Pokémon he sees, and with all the journeys that he's gone through, there's nothing that Ash can't do! Probably. For the most part, at least.
There are times when Ash does get scared, though. See
exhibit A. However, it does not mean he will cry like a sissy and scream all the time, especially in front of his friends. No, wait.
He already did. Most likely he'll only cry in front of his closest friends (Brock, MIsty, family), but he'll try not to show them for the most part until it just comes out completely.
Though he does make his share of mistakes along the way, it's not like his mistakes are permanent. In fact, he mostly corrects those through his luck!
Abilities: In this version, he does not have any special abilities. However, as a Pokémon trainer, Ash is pretty good at coming up with strategies on how to battle, no matter how he does it. He also uses tidbits of his Pokémon's personality to his advantage, such as the fact that his Fearow likes soy sauce and dumplings. His quick thinking in battles also helps him often, pulling him out of several dangers and winning Pokémon battles. Also, if he is allowed to bring his Pokémon, the ones he will have on him are the following: Pikachu, Charizard, Fearow, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Butterfree!
