Name: Silver the Hedgehog

Personality:
Most obvious point about this silver hedgehog from the future is that he has a very strong sense of justice. You know those super heroes you see on TV? Protect the weak and fight against injustice? He's pretty close to that. He'll fight for peace and justice, and will stand up for anyone who can't stand up for themselves, he'll help out anyone who's in need of help. Typical hero you'd love to have, or so people would think. Another obvious aspect of him is that he's very determined. If you're on his side, he'll be nice and help out, but if you're not then be prepared to see him be the bossiest and most annoying thing you will face. Just as he's determined to fight for peace and justice, he's very determined to not let anyone get in his way; and if you do, he'll do whatever it takes for you to get out of his way. So while he can be the most ideal hero ever, he's also the worst kind of person you want to argue with. His determination is so strong that in most cases he goes off on his own to complete his mission.
Silver is rather simple-minded due to being a little naive. Inexperience due to his age causes him to make some wrong decisions and sometimes even have second thoughts of his duty, especially when his mission clashes with his morals like killing someone to save the world. This part of him gives a chance for opponents to take advantage of, sadly. He's not too stupid though; if he realizes he's surrounded with lies, he will do whatever he can to get himself out of that. And having his determination play part of this, he can just as easily make enemies as alliances. Like mentioned above, even if you're his friend, if you get in the way he will not hesitate to label you as an enemy.
Like all hedgehogs, Silver doesn't seem to know the word "modest." He boasts of his powers and that no one can best him. While he doesn't excell in the speed portion the other two hedgehogs has, he makes up for power in his psychic abilities. And with his simple-mindedness, he would take on any challenge, even those that may seem impossible for him to accomplish. In most cases, he'd probably find one way or another to clear them with pure determination, but there are times where he would realize he had bitten more than he could handle. Another thing that can be compared with the other hedgehogs is that Silver somewhat lacks in patience. If it's anything where it requires him to sit down and think for a moment, his patience runs out pretty quick; things like "find my secret room in this huge mansion hahaha!" would wear his patience out the fastest. Situations where you know the goal is right there, yet you don't know exactly where you're supposed to go is one of many situations Silver hates to be stuck in. Perhaps this aspect of him is also seen as being immature.
Another flaw he has is that he takes things very, very seriously. Most, if not all, jokes thrown at him will not be taken as a joke. Sarcasm will not work with him either. If you jokingly put him down, he will become pretty upset. Again, with how simple-minded he is, it becomes very difficult for Silver to read the atmosphere most of the time. Perhaps this part makes him a bit different from the other hedgehogs; Sonic would always be the one playing jokes and provoking the enemy, while Shadow would carry his own sense of sarcasm (maybe). Even Espio, who's supposedly the most serious type in Team Chaotix, would have his own fun and sarcasm sometimes, too. Silver on the other hand, may use sarcasm at times, but only to provoke enemies when he has the upperhand.
All of these traits make Silver a difficult person to make teamwork happen. He would go off on his own, carrying the mission out by his own hands to prevent others to carry his burden. If you get past all his negative traits, though, he can be a very nice guy. It's really hard to form a strong friendship with him due to his personality and how quick he is to switch sides depending on what he's trying to do, but once that friendship is formed, he will do whatever he can to stay at your side, and even accept your offer to help out. Even with how rash and immature he is, Silver does know the importance of friendship and will cherish them as they're formed.
Backstory:
Two hundred years into the future (about) was when Silver is from. Sonic's world two hundred years into the future holds no Sonic or Eggman. Instead there was Silver. The future was a very bright and peaceful place...until he started getting a distress signal from 200 years ago! Taking this distress signal as the only source, Silver traveled back in time to take care of what was going on. Once he was there, he soon found out that Eggman Nega was somehow related to the distress signal, and that he even brought an island from the future. He pursued after Eggman Nega, running into those who were after him as well. For whatever reason, he didn't know, but no one was going to get in his way of dragging Eggman Nega out of this timeline! He plowed through numerous areas, investigating what exactly was going on, and more importantly, who was sending the distress signal. Eventually, Silver butted heads with Shadow and learned that the distress signal was coming from Dr. Eggman, who was turned into a card. Silver was able to turn Dr. Eggman back, and in return he helped them get to space where Eggman Nega was, where he was planning to turn the entire world into a card. Silver was able to defeat Eggman Nega, and dragged him back to the future where he belonged.
Some time later, though, Eggman Nega time traveled back into the past once more, this time planning to destory the future with the destructive power Ifrit held. Silver, determined to stop this from happening, chases after Eggman Nega back into the same time period and started hiding the Chao, the source that Ifrit had to consume in order to gain the destructive power to destroy the entire world, in a safe place. During his mission, he ran into Espio, who was investigating the disappearance of the Chao. Not wanting to waste time to talk about it all and weary that the chameleon would get in the way, Silver simply ignored Espio's questions as he went from another area to another, taking care of all the wandering Chao to keep them safe. But after traveling through a couple areas, Silver deemed Espio as a trustworthy ally and explained the situation. Now that the chameleon had an understanding of what was going on, the two teamed up to protect the Chao.
Soon later, they ran into others (Sonic and Tails, Knuckles and Rouge, and Shadow and Metal), who were after Eggman Nega as well for whatever reason they had. Silver's determination to completing his mission got the better of himself, and instead of working out like they may have been able to (perhaps), he fought against them whenever they crossed paths. Eventually, the two confronted Eggman Nega, who challenged them to find the secret room where he kept all the Chao for feeding to Ifrit. Taking on the challenge, Silver and Espio went about the entire mansion looking for the secret passageway, only to run into Shadow and Metal, who seemed to know where they were going. They end up clashing due to a simple misunderstanding, and Silver and Espio rises the victor as they head into the room where Ifrit was kept, apparently already awoken. Eggman Nega, seeing this, unleashed Ifrit against the two along with his own copy of Metal Sonic to defeat them once and for all. Espio and Silver defeated Ifrit, and the room started to collapse. They escape, leaving Eggman Nega to his self-brought doom, and Silver returns to the bright future he was able to protect.
With Eggman Nega out of the picture, the world became a very peaceful place. Silver's dream of wanting to protect those in need of help became stronger. Then one day, he was told about Smash Academy. A fighting school, to train those who wish to use their powers and knowledge for good? It was the perfect place for Silver to go to! But that meant he would have to travel back in time. If he could change his world into a better place by doing so, he would gladly go back in time to attend this school. With a determined tight fist, Silver traveled back in time.
Anything Else?:
- This is more or less a note for myself, but since he's taken from Rivals series, he has no recollection of ever knowing Blaze in the Sonic 06 game.
- No gijinka, and but may gain one later in the future.
- User of psychokinesis, he can easily lift up five to seven large cars and haul them across a field.
- Not only he can control objects, he can control people to a certain point. He can cause the person to be paralyzed and/or lose their sense of direction, but it requires more of his concentration to haul you across the field like he does with objects.
- He can't use his powers forever, though. He does get very tired after using his powers too much.
- He is a fly type, not a speed type. He probably uses his psychokinesis powers to build up the speed to keep up with Sonic and the rest of the speed types.
- COMPETITION. He loves them.
- He has his own extreme gear!

Greetings everyone. I'm Silver the Hedgehog and I'll be attending this school after summer break is over. My purpose is to learn whatever I can to make the future a better place. If you decide to get in my way, I won't hesitate to fight you.

Being back in this era without any specific mission is making me feel restless, in a way. No, I don't want any trouble happening. My wish is to have a peaceful and bright future, and to do that I will do whatever it takes. But right now, there doesn't seem to be any immediate threat that would alter the future. These idle thoughts are bothersome.
Espio doesn't seem to be at this school, either. Knowing how he liked to train, I figured he'd be here. I did see Knuckles around, though. Maybe I'll ask him some questions.

Now that he thought about it, Silver didn't take time to look around the world two hundred years before his time. It was a very odd feeling; it was like he was looking through the history book's pictures, except it was all around himself instead of in holographics pages of the book technology in the future provided. Everything seemed so ancient.
Silver wandered into the school library, and was impressed at how many textbooks there were. Were they all available for the public to view? He took one of the books off of the shelf carefully; they looked just like what the museums held behind glass cases... The surreal feeling of actually being in history he wouldn't have felt if he were here for a mission was something he had never felt before.
It was going to be so hard to adjust to this life, even if it was temporary.

Additional history that happened since the last application (their history at the school before they left, what happened and caused them to return):
Silver came to Smash Academy, had some fun(?) school(?) life before the future had contacted him in some bizarre way. He was pulled back into the future, where it was a total disaster; the world was drowned in fire and lava, there were monsters running around, and a large flaming monster called Iblis had taken control of the chaos around the world. Nothing reminded him of the future he knew...
The one thing he recognized was Blaze. At first it was an awkward meeting, but as they got to know each other while he fought against Iblis and tried to find a way to defeat the monster, he learned that the Blaze in this world was a different Blaze from the school.
The rest played out as the original game over all, although there may have been a number of alterations from the original game, like how he argued with Mephiles about Sonic being the Iblis Trigger. Eventually, though, things happened as it did, and with the help of those in Sonic's time, was able to find out how to defeat Iblis. He returned back to the future, where his fight ended with Blaze disappearing in front of him.
Rebuilding the world took a lot longer than it did. When the buildings were all rebuilt and peace had once again returned to his world, Silver decided he was going to return to Smash Academy, to go back and meet the friend who had helped him out.

Since Silver hasn't been at school for too long, there has been no personality changes for the most part even if he's older. Still the naive, yet obnoxious white hedgie at your service. He's a bit more cautious in letting those around him get close to him, though, and has a sense of duty to protect those he considers friends to prevent the same thing from happening again while he was back in the future.
