It was a bittersweet weekend for me. Pablo comes down Thursday mornings, but since I intern on Thursday during the day so we don't see each other until Thursday night. Since he decided to come to Beer Fest with me so he came with me to work and got his hair cut and wander GC with friends while I slaved away in the bowels of the SAAC building.

After work, I went to meeting to drop off some money to Charlene for the wonderous trip to Peachtree Cuty, GA for Leadership & more. I was compelled to stay by my little and others so I enjoyed yet another trip down memory lane as I listened to upcoming announcements on sports, Crush Party, and Miss Push America.

After that was over we drove to the fringes of Coral Gables and had a really fun time. I made sure that Jessie could bring her boyfriend so she tagged along and I finally met Pedro. Then we had drinks, I had some chicken wings (pretty good for a tiny bar) and I proceeded to have what one might call a very good evening. Chit chatting with Milton while leaning on parking meters. Inquiries as to the contents of cups and the like. Finding out which long time aquaintance has a tattoo and where.

The next morning I was not really up to much, but since Saturday was not a good day for us to celebrate Valentine's Day, we went to a nice lunch at Buca di Beppo's. The waiter took FOREVER, but once he got around to helping us we had a very good time. The food was delicious, but I think I might still prefer Carrabba's. (I think Pablo does, too). We hanged out, went to Target where I bought him some things and then he went to see his friend while I lounged around the house. The next day we went to Quizno's, then the movies, but we didn't see anything that was starting at a convenient time so we rented "Burn After Reading" which is odd, but I haven't finished it because I had to get ready to go out to dinner with Estefania.

We went to THE best sushi I have ever had. And the food was not overly priced so I was able to order more than one item (sushi isn't filling and you know it). I had beef carpaccio (raw beef) and then I had a suhshi roll whose name is something like "An invitation to the White House" or something. OMG! MORE RAW MEAT! Tuna and something else, I don't know, but it was so good. I asked for my fork as I do not use chop sticks. The rolls were so large I actually cut them with a knife.

LJ keeps not saving my posts when I click "Update" so unfortunately the rest of the evening is lost.
