In 29 states, it's still legal to fire someone solely because they're lesbian,
gay, or bisexual.
In 38 states it is legal to fire someone solely for being transgender.
The second session of the 111th Congress begins in January 2010. ENDA (the
Employment Non-Discrimination Act) will be up for vote. LGBTQ and Ally
organizations all over the country are calling for an immediate vote on ENDA.
There is a call for Congress to finally pass an inclusive ENDA.
On January 9th, 2010 come to my house to write a letter to your Representatives
and Senators, call your Representatives or Senators to ask them to Pass ENDA
Now, participate in a video blog project, get information about ENDA and discuss
what we can do to advocate for ENDA.
