I started radiation this week. Therefore, I now have tattoos. The radiation itself is actually really fast- I'm probably there for less than 15 minutes, plus they listened to what I said about scheduling, and my appointments are at 4, which means I don't have to miss any school.
The machine that they use looks like it came out of Star Trek. There's a table that I lie on, then there's a big machine with parts that rotate all around me, and it's all very futuristic. Plus, they have the ceiling painted, so there's a big black circle, and then there are little holes poked in the black, with light shining through them, so it sort of looks like stars. It's actually a great big, very pretty room, so that's kind of relaxing.
My skin is still acting up. In addition to the breakouts on my face, I also have these bumps here and there on my neck and torso, and I'm not sure what the deal is with them. They kind of hurt, and they're growing. They're actually a bit scary.
I've been watching the episodes of Smallville that I had let build up on my TiVo, and more than once, a little banner has popped up in the bottom corner of the screen that says, "Your watching Smallville. Up next: Reaper." Yes, "your." It just makes me very sad.

Cakesters are super duper extra yumtastic. I haven't tried the Oreo flavor, but both the Nilla and the chocolate are great.
