(no subject)
This afternoon, I bought rhubarb. I've never bought rhubarb before, and it just felt wrong. We had two big plants in the back yard when I was a kid, so if I wanted some, I just went out and got some. I admit I'm strange- I prefer it raw and super-sour, rather than cooked, although my dad makes fantastic rhubarb pie. And I was just in the mood for some, and bought a few stalks. The checker and the bagger at the grocery store both didn't know what it was, or what you do with it. So I think I'm going to go lie on the couch and eat rhubarb. I wonder what it tastes like when it's not freshly picked?
