(no subject)
I'm home from work today. I have a dentist appointment this morning, and then I'll be spending the rest of the day doing MRIs, and meeting with the radiologist. I'm glad, because the pain in my hip and knee just gets worse and worse each day. Then Brent's mom is arriving some time today. She'll be here for a volleyball tournament, and to hang out with us. Yay? Her husband was going to come with her, but now he's not, which is too bad, because I know Brent was looking forward to the two of them hanging out together.
I suppose I should go get dressed. As much as I'd like to go to all these appointments in my pajamas, I'm not actually one of those people who does that kind of thing. One of my students had on fuzzy bedroom slippers instead of shoes yesterday, and all I could think was, "How hard is it to just put on a pair of shoes?" I admit there are days when I'd rather not wear shoes, but on those days, a pair of slip-on ballet flats are usually what I go for, because they're easy, lightweight, and actual shoes that in no way resemble Muppets.
