(no subject)
Today, I am supposed to be grading papers, but here is the plan my brain had created: From 9-11, watch High School Reunion, which is my latest reality tv obsession. Afterwards, go to Target, to get a new expanding file to hold the papers I needed to grade. And some pens, because I have an addiction. (Yes, I'm addicted to pens. It's better than gambling, right?) Then, come home and maybe actually grade the papers.
Instead, while I was watching the last half hour of High School Reunion, Brent came in and said that he was going to go run an errand, and asked if I wanted him to get me anything. I told him I had been planning to go to Target, so he said we should go together. So we went to Game Stop, which was where Brent needed to go. There were Girl Scouts in front, so we ended up getting 6 boxes of cookies, too. Then we went to Spudistro for lunch. They have big baked potatoes, stuffed with various yummy things. Brent ordered the Blarney Spud, which had corned beef, cabbage, and a spicy sour cream. I had the Sparks Spud, which had seasoned ground beef, salsa, cheddar, and sour cream. Brent also got a sourdough bread bowl full of potato cheddar soup.
Then, we went to Target. The actual reason I wanted to go is that Target has red marshmallow Peeps. That's the only place to get them, and since it's Easter tomorrow, I wanted to get some before they were gone. I got an expanding file, some pens, and then we walked around a little. We were near the lamps, and Brent said that he thinks the lamps we have in our bedroom are too short. I thought they might be when we got the new furniture, but we decided to wait and see. So, we looked at the lamps, and they had black Eiffel Tower lamps. I've wanted an Eiffel tower lamp for a long time, so now I have two in our bedroom, and they are just perfect. The bottom of the lampshade is even with the top of the headboard, so it looks good, and the black lamps with black shades look good against the wall. Our old lamps were silver with white shades, so they looked ok, but these look better. Plus, I have Eiffel Tower lamps!
And I still haven't graded anything. The end of the quarter is next Friday, so I definitely need to. But, I don't wanna. I want to take a nap.
