I'm putting this up for you all to enjoy, but specifically for my Cupid, who has always been a fan of the musical theatre. The delightful fairy creature is the late Jessie Matthews, and it is worth remembering that this was the girl that Fred Astaire actually wanted to be partnered with, but the studio forced Ginger Rogers on him because they didn't think American audiences would warm to a British dancer. No, not even one as heartbreakingly lovely as little Jessie. Dance for us, Jessie Girl!
