9 Lives
Today was the beginning of my new life. Second chance. Learned from all the mistakes. Time to move on and make better decisions. Thank God.
This weekend was so fabulous. I went to NYC (on the Chinatown bus AH!...actually it was totally fine) and met up with the one and only Crazies. We explored the Village and then went uptown to Times Square (a personal fave) then over to 5th Ave and Rockfeller Center where I saw the b-e-a-uuuuutiful tree all lit up and watched the ice skaters. Then we walked up 5th and through part of Central Park to some fancy mall. Went in J. Crew and pretended we could afford the $1500 jackets. Apparently I've never been in a real J. Crew before...the Tilton outlet just doesn't cut it. Sooo we walked up to the Upper West Side and passed Lincoln Center (aka last scene in Center Stage for all u goofs who don't know what Lincoln Center is) and THEN THEN THEN I saw the BUILDING that she lives in in Uptown Girls!!!!! I freaked out and Crazies thought I was insane. So I went and touched the building :-) After a little more walking and exploring the Barney's Coop (the jackets there were only $200-300...totally doable) we hopped the sub and went back to Manhattan College in the Bronx. Where there are gunshots every now and then. And little white girls should never walk alone. Met all of the suitemates and then some. Fun times til 4am hehehehe. Spent the rest of my $$ on Canal St and for lunch in Little Italy the next day then got on the bus back to Boston. It only took 3 1/2 hrs! Every time I go back to NYC I like it more and more. This time I actually thought...hmmm, I could live here someday....big difference from how I hated it the first time.
I'm going to miss my Honors people :-( Ice cream party at Alanah's for sure. Jen and I will take care of planning other stuff he he he.
I love the Christmasy spirit. I might be going skating at the Commons on Weds. I can't wait to get all my work done and go hoooome. Speaking of home....I love all my girls who are going through hard times right now. I don't understand what's up with Team Dump. However, I want you all to know that everything really does happen for a reason and that someday you will see why this may be the best thing even though it's ridiculously hard right now. In the meantime, we are all here for each other and there are going to be TONS of guuuurl parties :-) Sipping wine w Sio's mommy by the fire, Lovelies Christmas Party, going shopping and renting movies and drinking hot chocolate and we can go skating and seriously...it will be so much fun that everything will be ok even if it's only for one night. So keep ya head(s) up cuz there's lots of love.
