Yeehaw! Good goin', Hufflepuff! And congrats to Ravenclaw for putting up a fair fight.

Man, watching that match makes me miss playing. All of ya were pretty darn fierce out there. Though next time, girls? Try not to get too many fouls, alright?

hufflepuff wins at life, reduced to cheerleader, quidditch

I must admit, I also miss playing every time we have a game.

Yeah. It's kinda a shame not being on the team anymore but there's gotta be something said for sitting back and watching a game.

Indeed there is! And in any event, being a prefect is more distinguished, thus being on the team is no longer an option for me.

But flying for Quidditch is second to none.

If you don't mind me asking, why'd you quit, sugar? Prefectly duties seemed more like your type of work or somethin'?

My desire to bring order supersedes my joy of flying, particularly if I intend to work in the ministry some day.

And I feel as though my father will be more impressed with me having a prestigious position.

Well I guess I can understand that. I quit just in case I sustained a lifelong injury that wouldn't let me work on my family's farm.

It's important to impress your elders, but sometimes you gotta take a little time for yourself. Get what I mean?

Couldn't a mediwizard fix any ailment you'd sustain on the field?

...I take time for myself by concentrating on maintaining order. It is of the utmost importance. I have to achieve it.

Well see, my family's kinda weird when it comes to magic. Granny thinks it's a load of voodoo hoo-ha and I already made up my mind when I was a kid that I'd take over Sweet Apple Acres one day, magic or no magic. What if a mediwizard couldn't fix an injury? I'd be plum deep in horseapples.

You sound like my gal Twilight. But ain't no reason to not take time for something like that.

Nonsense. Magic would make things run more smoothly. And that's improbable; Mediwizards can right nearly anything other than dark magic.

It's fine, Applejack. I can always play Quidditch when I don't have responsibilities to be concerned with.
