Something Old
The photos that sit on the ledge by my desk
I went to Hye-on-Wye last month and brought back a ton of books,
as well as some old photos I found in a box. Somedays they creep
me out, other days they're really intriguing.
And don't you think the one on the right looks like
Macaulay Culkin?

The cake my housemate Helen just made
This is quite possibly the best cake I've ever had. It's full of
jam and cream and more importantly; when we ate some it
was warm. Hot cakes are the best, mmmm!

"Blankets" by Craig Thompson
My friend Louise lent me this graphic novel before Christmas.
It's basically about the author's life, his childhood etc, and is
really interesting. Taking a photo of it reminded me to finish
it and give it back!

The front of my bedroom door
My bedroom door consists clockwisedly of:
1) The poster I made for a book launch at my uni' last
Wednesday. It was so much fun and the book is really
good. Joe Stretch - Wildlife - I recommend!
2) My Publisher-made room sign. Last year I was
toally obsessed with Doctor Who.
3) A little origami flower my housemate Roxanne
stuck on the door, with a note saying "A Red Flower
for Red". It won't come off. I am going to be fined...
4) A photo of me looking special with a napkin on
my head.
5) A photo of Steven, me, Helen and Roxanne
all dressed up and ready to go out for Halloween.
6) A mini leaflet from the student elections - the
guy I'm seeing, Oli, ran for VP Finance.
He won by 600 votes :)
