balance, volume II: bravery

fair and bold, with eyes that are the sea
on the wind, a beauty carries weight
rest now soul, come lock in gaze a while
give of life in doses, full and purposed
in the stunning mountains, i find flaw
vivid, permanent, but full of pride
envious, they seem but rocks and cold
my want of freedom washes with the tide
every passing second grow the roots
They spread out deep, to grasp tight in embrace
in their hold, my worry sheds like pedals
each rose in its slow bloom reminds of you
