(no subject)
I have the internet and the new computer is up and running wonderfully. I'm at a loss for my 'smooth edges' slider, but it's otherwise unscathed. My first vampire sighting was awesome, as was Darren Dreamer kicking butt in a poker game.
And, in a tragic series of events, I have lost the Waterfords. I didn't pay attention while copying the neighbourhood over and overwrote them with Veronaville. Not a big deal, since I wasn't much attached to them and they were livign in what was quickly going to be a corrupted neighbourhood (headmaster marrying and deleteallcharacters-ing).
Oh well, the Dynasts and the Selfsims seem to be in fine working order. At least, I assume they are, since I just checked my 8-sim household in Veronaville that contains my uglacy and they're all in working order.
[edit, many tries later] I've lost the Dynasts and the Selfsims, too. This calls for Selfsims v2.0 in a brand new neighbourhood which is called Fort Dreary. I found my reason why I lost them and let's just say I'll never be dumb again.
