It's Easter So I Must Arise

Well, it's official - I've eaten my own weight in green coconut "grass" my sister-in-law had under her bunny cake. I now have a lovely green, grassy smile, too. And still not enough to stop me from eating the rest of it she gave me to bring home.

I'm supposed to be preparing for my class tomorrow - yuck - so I'm doing this instead, of course. NOT looking forward to teaching this bunch of f*wads, but I must in support of my team. I'm guessing everyone's going to be very hostile because they are being forced to come. I would look on it as an opportunity to screw off, but that's just me and my very poor work ethic. Maybe they'll perk up when they realize I bring chocolate to all my classes.

This weekend has been very unproductive as usual. I'm kind of keeping my head bobbing above the surface of all my chores, but I never seem to make any headway. I did get a chance to work through my laundry backlog - OMG I have 50 T-shirts. I didn't realize I had so many until I did ALL my laundry. Of those 50, I bet 35 have stains on them. I swear I am the messiest eater ever - it's like I can't find my own mouth sometimes. So any way, I've decided to give my messy ones away to the Salvation Army and only keep the 15 without stains because now I have an adult bib - that's what I call the scrub top I bought to wear over my T-shirts when I eat. This will make my segue into the pathethic old folk's home so much more seamless when I will be required to use real adult bibs. Geesh.

Loved, loved, loved the last Veronica Mars - I am such a sucker for dream sequences. It was like Twin Peaks Redux only funnier. And I almost fell out of my chair when Logan introduced the turn down service as his fluffer. I think the censors must have just given up on that show. Not so crazy about the Gilmore Girls. I am so tired of the whole April thing, and the Rory and Logan thing, and the Luke and Lorelai thing - I want to kick them all in the ass and yell get on with it. But, still, I am compelled to watch. . . .
