Well, this whole week was "earn your paycheck" - LOTS of incoming calls, prep for the new Bellevue Square location. We have a total of 6 Helpdesk staff to cover 125 stores, a dozen restaurants, three corporate offices, and the distribution warehouse. Out of those? One is working from home due to some jackass making an illegal left-turn in front of him (he was in Harbor-zoo for a week, his ride to work's totaled). One guy is taking vacation, and tomorrow ANOTHER guy takes a day off for his birthday. (Taking our staff from 6 to 3). Oh, and when I walked in, one of those three folks was vocally expressing an intention to quit as soon as he lines up another gig.
Oh, and I work this weekend to cover for dude on injury leave.
Yeah, getting a beer and hiotting the hay early. I'll need to be in an hour (if not a couple hours) early for Friday's shift.
