(no subject)
Well, folks. Busy weekend. I was on-call, so my net access was limited. I had a gaggle of college kids (including godchild) over so they could see RHPS. Had to man the phone - nuts! Finished Diamond Sky for the Tron fic challenge, did a Ghostbusters one-shot, and slapped together a GR fanvid after hearing FM's "Someday." Seeing as FM was the band who did a lot of GR's music (including the theme), I had to give it a shot. It suffered greatly from lack of footage. I may have to see if I can rework it.
And on a more serious note? 350,000 Israelis, Jewish, Christian, and Palestinian alike, were protesting the corruption and worse by the corporate elite in the country. Not like anyone gave a damn or attention.

I've been severely disillusioned when it comes to politics and the capacity of Americans to do anything to their neighbor other than decide to kick anyone "weaker" than them in the nuts in order to make themselves feel superior or grovel at those who can kick nuts with impunity in the hope of crumbs from an upper-class table.
Given this, I should also be ashamed of myself for my fanfic habits. After all, the same company who released GR's box set (Koch Media) are the same assholes strong-arming Wisconsin and encouraging the "I got mine - screw you" society. But I don't know of better methods to keep sane.
